Funeral Insurance from NZ Cover Direct pays a lump sum benefit on your death, usually within 48 hours of receiving the completed paperwork. This payout can be used to help cover the cost of funeral arrangements, to settle any final debts or perhaps just to provide financial support to your family.

Funeral Insurance is designed to help your loved ones pay for the cost of your funeral, and other final expenses. When you pass away this insurance pays a benefit to your estate or your nominated beneficiaries.
You can choose the amount you want paid (from $3,000 up to $20,000). It is paid quickly, usually within 48 hours of receiving completed paperwork. Cover is for accidental death only during the first 24 months of your policy, with full cover thereafter.

You can pay fortnightly, monthly or annually.

Provided you continue to pay your premiums, you can keep your Funeral Insurance for life. What’s more, once you reach 85, you are no longer required to pay premiums, and your cover continues at no charge.
